Coldharbour is one of the oldest streets on the Isle of Dogs, a short riverside lane at Blackwall in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. It survived the docks, the Blitz and the rebuilding of Docklands, and its Georgian houses and the Gun public house are listed. The river is at the end of the street, with the Thames Path running past and the O2 directly opposite, and Canary Wharf’s towers are a few minutes’ walk to the west. Blackwall and East India DLR stations are nearby, and Canary Wharf brings the Jubilee and Elizabeth lines within reach. It is a quiet address in an unusually well connected part of east London.
